Salvage Value: Is He Actually Interested in You? Part 2 of 2

As I was having technical problems with my email account at the time, I wasn’t sure what to make of it. Just in case he did email me and it ended up in my spam filter, I emailed him two weeks after that last date. I must admit, that kiss played a major factor in my decision, because I figured he must be still interested judging from that.

No reply. Nothing. Then he closed me from his dating profile. Just like that.

Ouch, what an ego hit!

He could’ve told me straight out that he wasn’t interested anymore (it wasn’t like I was not having doubts myself). Or better, just don’t friggin’ kiss me! It sent a mixed signal and wasted my time and energy. Talk about bad etiquette (refer to my section regarding good dating practice)!

What had made me felt so angry and humiliated was the fact that he kissed me knowing full well that he was not going to ask me out again. He did it because he wanted one last bit of salvage value out of the effort he invested in those four dates, some extra mileage out of the dinners that he had paid for. Never mind that it would leave me confused and wondering.

What a jerk!
